Tremour Walks His Last Mile-Malawi Music Downloader

On Wednesday, Malawians of all walks of life united to send off one of the country’s afro pop music sons, Victor Yaphama Mwangobola popularly known as Tremour.

Scores of people that gathered at Area 18 Cemetery in Lilongwe bore testimony to what the departed musician has been mainly among the youth.

The eulogies described Tremour’s departure as devastating.

While it was distressing to see such a young man transition into the unknown world under such circumstances, it was heartwarming to see Malawians unite in celebrating the life of the departed musician.

Joining hundreds in paying tribute to a man who had promising future in Malawi music, Minister of Sports and Youth Uchizi Mkandawire said government is devastated.

Mkandawire who represented Malawi leader Lazarus Chakwera said Tremour was talented and made a lot of contribution to Malawi music industry.

He said his blossoming talent was an inspiration to many and his demise is a huge blow.

President of Musicians Union of Malawi Vita Chirwa said Tremour was future of Malawi music and the industry has been hit hard.

On a awful Saturday night Tremour was coming from the studio in Area 25 when he met his fate.

He boarded a motorcycle heading home after work, before a car hit their motorcycle.

He sustained head injuries before being rushed to Kamuzu Central Hospital for medical attention

Tremour breathed his last on Sunday, July 30th 2023.

At 27, his sun sets.

Looking back, his illustrious music career started some twelve years ago.

He looked up to the likes of Billy Kaunda, Skeffa Chimoto and late Wambali Mkandawire.

Popular for his trademark “Mvera Again” he broke through the music industry with his hit "Mpanipani" and recently released a new album titled "Golide Mu Moto" which had 10 songs that are tackling several aspects of modern daily life.

In his final resting place, Tremour has left Malawians with one message in one of his hits, Mpanipani “ Nthawi yopuma tilibe, kumalembe mbokosi ndiye tchuthi. As you live ,you hustle for ana ako kapena mayi ako.”
